Fresh, youthful, and inviting. A full-bodied wine with powerful varietal flavours of bell pepper, green apple and freshly cut grass. Good structure with lovely balancing acidity.

IN THE VINEYARD

Malolactic fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. The wine was matured on wood for 3 months to add weight and complexity before stabilisation and bottling.

Grapes were harvested between 21° - 22°B from a selection of vineyards.

An appealing light straw colour. Light with lovely ripe, attractive rounded fruit. Fresh floral nose and an exciting acid balance.

IN THE CELLAR

Grapes were harvested between 21˚ - 22˚B from a selection of vineyards. Gentle pressure was applied by using a pneumatic bag press to capture the delicate fruit components. The wine was made reductively to prevent any oxidation and to ensure that the natural flavours of the grapes could be retained. Fermentation happened slowly in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for 18 days at 13˚C.

SEVEN SISTERS CHARDONNAY 2019

The balance of the fresh citrus fruits and rich melon characters give this wine a full and rounded palate that combines well with the subtle creaminess and nuttiness of gentle oak. The natural acidity follows through to a fresh and clean finish.

IN THE CELLAR

Twenty percent of the blend was fermented on wood and the balance in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks at 12°C for 19 days. Wine was left on the lees for 80 days to add complexity. Twenty percent of the wine was matured on French oak for 6 months.

Grapes were harvested at a very ripe stage (between 23.5° - 25° B) from a selection of vineyards.

SEVEN SISTERS MOSCATO PERLÉ

Light golden coloured with a delicate cascade of bubbles. A shy nose at first with surprisingly perfume-like fragrance and hints of Muscat aromas. A light‐bodied wine with a sparkling, spritzy character and a dazzling fruit-forward palate with honeysuckle, green grapes, citrus tones, and ripe peach nuances. This wine must be consumed while young and fresh.

IN THE VINEYARDS & CELLAR

The Moscato is rooted in the Swartland region which falls within the coastal winter rainfall area of South Africa which features warm summers moderated by cool Atlantic breezes. The vineyards are scarcely irrigated on mainly dry land. The wine is filtered and stored in stainless-steel tanks, till bottling.

SEVEN SISTERS MERLOT 2018

A rich, dark red colour with ripe, punchy plum and sweet, black cherry flavours and a velvet finish. The delicate wood tones do not mask the ripe fruit.

A deep purple tint on the rim with delicious flavours of ripe strawberry, banana, juicy plums, and rich, red cherry. Produced in an early drinking style with well-integrated wood and a soft, smooth finish.

Smooth, full-bodied style with rich mulberry, plum and cassis supported by soft tannins. The wine is deep red in colour, smooth with good weight made in a friendly new Cape style, with no hard edges.
